I was opposed to Twitter when I first heard of it. Well, not so much opposed as I didn't understand why anyone would want to hear what I had to say unless I was some singer-actress-athlete-celebrity. But eventually I caved, mostly interested in what my friends had to say, and made a profile.
(Random thought: I wonder how many profiles I have floating around in cyberspace since my family first got internet in 2002?)
Of course, like most tweeters, I got hooked and rarely does a day go by that I don't check my TL.
But it wasn't until a few days ago that I realized how scary Twitter actually is.

This makes it legit.
The most decent ID picture I've taken in years. |
Class of: 2016
College of: Communication
Major: Journalism
Address: 1237 West Fullerton Chicago, IL
This makes it legit.
Before I know it I'll be walking around campus by myself, not with a large group of clueless incoming freshman, I'll have to find my way around on the L Train, not with a student leader pointing out the right destinations, and all my days will repeat and not end with my dad picking me up asking about my day.
AND I'M SOOOOO READY!
Am I nervous and all that stuff, of course, but this has been my goal since forever!
I need to make my own path as soon as possible. After all, my major is journalism which means I'll be documenting stories and how can I appreciate others' if I don't create my own?
This is,
MAB
